I'm going to Taiwan in 3 weeks... As you would expect I've got the "night before christmas feeling" of excitement in my belly. Which brings me rather smartly to my point here.

2 weeks ago I decided to go on a little diet (to reduce the size of my butterfly belly) before jetting off... 2 weeks later, I'm 5 KGs lighter (and looking hotter than I usually do, but that's besides the point right now).

Whenever I'm asked if I've lost weight, I say.. yep... thought I'd lose a little. The reply is usually something a little like this. "I'm going to do that too, it'll be my new years resolution next year"

people who say that will never get anything done... a brand new year starts every second of every day folks and if you want to do something, you better get off your ass and do it now. Do me a favour Y'all, If you want to impress me or even keep my attention during passive conversations, don't tell me what you're 'gonna do' 'cos every single one of us is gonna do a billion different things, I myself am gonna slip on a dress, call myself Hamble and live life as a lady in guatemala or perhaps I'll have a pot noodle and a wa*k instead.

Solider sues MoD over 'wrong boots'
A woman soldier who was forced to leave the Army after being given the wrong-sized boots and contracting trench foot is suing the Ministry of Defence for £150,000. Louisa Swanston, 28, was given waterproof boots two sizes too big when she was serving in Bosnia and had to make do with leather boots that failed to cope with the sub-zero temperatures. Ms Swanston left the Army in October after being told the nerve endings in her feet were dead.

Ah, I remember when I was 10 I had to wear my big brothers boots to school, there were also two sizes too big for me. But I was only 10 and never had any military survival training so alls I did was wear an extra pair of socks.

The problem with training people to obey orders without question it seems is they loose the ability to use one's initiative. Sadly it is symptomatic of the country as a whole....

The message it sent me so I'm sure it didn't go unnoticed to our growning list of enemies (thanks Tone for that BTW) but it shows our great army as a bunch of mollycoddled, pampered weaklings with no loyalty to their country.
